The Rank of Commander

As I researched, the Rank of Commander is the Navy Equivalent to an Army/Marine/Air force Lt. Colonel, above a Major (or a Lt. Commander) and below a Colonel (or a Navy Captain) I have cousins in the navy, and I'm more of a space commander, so, yeah.
